With duration of 4 years..ELIGIBILITY: Pass in Higher secondary or +2 or VHSE or equivalent examination with 50% aggregate in the following subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
With duration of 3 years.Direct admission to IInd year (Lateral entry) ELIGIBILITY: Pass in D.Pharm (ER’91) with 50% marks.
The duration of the course shall be for 4 academic years and each academic year is spread over a period of not less than 200 working days.
A candidate will be permitted to register in the university examination only on production of a certificate from the principal of the college in which the candidate has undergone the course by attending the required number of classes and appearing for the internal examination.
Attendance : (A) Candidate is required to put in minimum prescribed percentage of attendance in both theory and practical separately in each subject before admission to examination. A candidate lacking the prescribed attendance in any one subject, in theory or practical, shall not be permitted to admit for the entire examination. He will have to make up for the shortage subsequently to appear for the next university examinations.
(B) Regulation for condensation of lack of attendance :- As per concerned University Regulations.
Internal Assessment Marks : (A) Theory : Three seasonal examinations (evenly spaced) shall be conducted during the academic year. The average marks of best two examinations shall be computed and shall constitute the internal assessment marks of theory.
(B) Practicals: There will be two practical examinations evenly spaced during one academic year and average will be sent as practical marks.
(A) At the time of practical examination, each candidate shall submit to the Examiners his/her laboratory records duly certified by the Head of the Department/Principal.
(B) The practical record shall be evaluated by the concerned teacher in charge as internal evaluation, which will be part of practical internal assessment marks.
(C) In respect of failed candidates the marks awarded for records at previous examination will be carried over for subsequent examinations.
Students shall visit pharmaceutical Manufacturing Units as a supplement to their academic training and submit a report to the satisfaction of the Head of the Institution where he/she is studying.
